  1. You can import three types of files directly into an Address Book Plus Document:

  3. •  other Address Book files
  4.  
  5. •  any comma- or tab-delimited text files*
  6.  
  7. •  Address Book Plus DOS text files
  8.  
  9. You can also import files created by the supplied Address Book Plus Translator HyperCard™ stack.

  11. You can use Import to merge two Address Book Plus documents into one document.
  12.  
  13. *  In comma-delimited text, each field is
  14.     surrounded by quotation marks and separated
  15.     by a comma, and each entry is separated by a
  16.     carriage return.  In tab-delimited text, each
  17.     field is separated by a tab character and each
  18.     entry by a carriage return.  These two text
  19.     formats are used by many applications.
